This series aims to transport us to the cool, shaded courtyards. Intimate, enclosed worlds. The paintings are like portraits of the actors in a play that is reenacted there every day, to the rhythm of passing time.

The works presented are created in 3 stages.

It is first and foremost a photographic work. An observer of the world around her, she pays particular attention to framing and lighting.

This is followed by a process of abstraction, in which the paint is freed from the artist's hand to create a vibrant structure. This vibration arises from the repetition of lines and the arrangement of colors. It transcribes the atmosphere of the moment the photograph was taken, but also the character of the subject, its inner vibration, that which gives it its sensitive aspect, and thus symbolizes the continuum between the subject and the world that surrounds it.

Then comes an impressionistic figurative work, inspired by photographs, which is superimposed and blends with the previous abstract composition.

The transparency of the material allows the two images to blend together, the subject thus appearing in all its complexity, both material and immaterial.
